Mi Piaci

Project Overview

For Mi Piaci, a footwear brand positioned around contemporary women’s shoes with an emphasis on style and quality, the retail environment typically requires a refined presentation combined with practical merchandising flexibility. In this type of shoes store, common challenges include managing space utilisation across multiple sizes and styles, maintaining clear display logic between seasonal collections and core ranges, and ensuring fixtures achieve durability while preserving material and structural consistency under frequent handling and restocking. The project therefore commenced with design engineering to establish a structured merchandising system and introduce a modular structure that supports adaptable display configurations while improving traffic flow. Shop drawings development translated these concepts into coordinated technical documentation, ensuring that integrated storage systems for boxed inventory remained efficient and discreet within the overall layout. During prototyping and sample development, refinements were made to fixture proportions and material interfaces, supported by value engineering to balance cost efficiency with durability and consistent finishes. Through controlled shopfitting manufacturing, followed by rigorous QC and inspection, the final delivery achieved reliable construction quality across multiple locations. With rollout support, the system was further adapted to varying site conditions, resulting in improved space utilisation, clearer display logic, and enhanced durability, supporting efficient merchandising behaviour and a cohesive in-store experience.
