Project Overview
For Roop Darshan, a retailer specialising in traditional and contemporary Indian apparel for occasion-driven customers, the store environment typically requires a balance between rich visual presentation and practical merchandising. In this type of fashion retail, common challenges include managing space utilisation for garments with varying volumes and display methods, maintaining clear display logic across categories such as bridal, formal, and ready-to-wear, and ensuring fixtures provide durability while preserving material and structural consistency in a visually layered setting.
The project therefore commenced with design engineering to organise product zoning and introduce a modular structure that accommodates both hanging displays and folded presentations, while improving traffic flow across the store. Shop drawings development translated these spatial strategies into precise construction details, ensuring that integrated storage systems for inventory and seasonal stock remained accessible without interrupting the display hierarchy. Particular attention was given to material selection and detailing to align with the brand’s decorative identity while maintaining durability in high-use areas.
Through controlled shopfitting manufacturing, followed by systematic QC and inspection, the final delivery achieved consistent build quality and reliable performance. The result is a retail environment with improved space utilisation, clearer display logic, and enhanced durability, supporting organised merchandising behaviour and a more cohesive customer experience.
