Project Overview
For Forcast, a brand positioned around contemporary women’s clothing for work and everyday wear, the retail environment typically emphasises clean presentation and efficient merchandising. In this type of fashion clothing store, common challenges include balancing space utilisation between hanging and folded displays, maintaining a consistent display logic across seasonal collections, and ensuring fixtures provide durability while preserving material and structural consistency under frequent product turnover.
The project therefore commenced with design engineering to define a structured merchandising layout and introduce a modular structure that supports flexible reconfiguration of displays while improving traffic flow. Shop drawings development translated these concepts into precise construction documentation, ensuring that integrated storage systems for back-up stock remained accessible without disrupting the front-of-house presentation. Particular attention was given to detailing that aligns material selection with the brand’s refined aesthetic while maintaining durability in high-use areas.
Through controlled shopfitting manufacturing, followed by systematic QC and inspection, the final delivery achieved consistent build quality and reliable performance. The result is a retail environment with improved space utilisation, clearer display logic, and enhanced durability, supporting efficient merchandising behaviour and a cohesive in-store experience aligned with the brand’s positioning.
