Project Overview
For Diamondrensu, a jewellery brand focused on accessible fine jewellery and custom pieces for detail-oriented consumers, the retail environment typically requires a controlled balance between visual refinement and functional clarity. In this type of retail, key challenges often include limited space utilisation due to small-scale display formats, fragmented display logic across product categories, and the need to maintain material and structural consistency while ensuring long-term durability under frequent handling.
The project therefore began with design engineering to define a coherent display logic and introduce a modular structure that could support flexible product arrangement while improving traffic flow. This was followed by shop drawings development to formalise precise detailing, particularly where multi-material integration—such as glass, metal, and timber—needed to align visually and structurally. During prototyping and sample development, refinements were made to optimise storage systems and ensure durability without compromising the perceived lightness of the fixtures.
Through controlled shopfitting manufacturing, combined with QC and inspection, the final delivery achieved improved space utilisation, clearer merchandising behaviour, and consistent material performance, resulting in a retail setting that supports both efficient display and a more cohesive customer experience.
